Private Collection

In the past several years I have been moving away from creating purely decorative fiber wall sculptures and striving to make work that represents social commentary on current events.

There was an incident of police brutality against a black person in the news when I started my torso “Hands Up! Don’t Shoot “. The sculpture is meant to have the viewer realize that we need to work toward equal justice for all and against racial profiling by law enforcement.
