Much of my work includes the themes and impressions of my home and my place in the Sonoran desert. When creating this stitched and beaded, 3 dimensional study of a Saguaro I included a bird hole. The hole called out to be inhabited so I created this Elf Owl to engage the viewer.

Materials included studio fabrics, ribbon, thread, vintage hand painted bugle& seed beads on hardware cloth.
