Inventing desert flora with bight colors is my Modus Operandi.

I decide on an image, select my color palette, weave and embellish to create layers of colors and textures. This series of flowers are made with materials from my studio stash. Use of colors, contrast in textures, layers of embroidered color and beads give these 3 dimensional blossoms a richness that invites a desire to touch.
